Departing from BER

Your onward journey from BER

The Airport Express (FEX) runs every half hour between BER Tand Berlin Central Station. The trains take about half an hour and also stop at Ostkreuz station and in Berlin Gesundbrunnen. Together with the RE8 and RB23 lines, this means that there are fast connections between BER and Berlin Central station or Ostkreuz four times an hour during the day.
The RE8, RB22, RB23, RB24 and RB32 lines also offer hourly direct connections to Potsdam, Königs Wusterhausen, Nauen, Ludwigsfelde and Wünsdorf-Waldstadt. Many other places in Brandenburg can be reached with just one change in Berlin, Potsdam, Ludwigsfelde or Königs Wusterhausen.

In addition, the regional train lines RB24 to Berlin-Lichtenberg / Eberswalde and RB32 (via Berlin-Lichtenberg) to Oranienburg depart every hour from BER Airport - Terminal 5 station.

The S-Bahn lines S45 and S9 run from BER to the city centre. This means that there are 20-minute intervals - i.e. a total of 6 journeys per hour - from BER to Berlin city centre.

The Intercity line Rostock-Berlin-Dresden stops at BER Airport every two hours, thus connecting BER to the German long-distance transport network. To Berlin Südkreuz and Hauptbahnhof as well as Elsterwerda and Doberlug-Kirchhain, IC trains can also be used with VBB tickets and the Deutschlandticket.

Bus transport offers an attractive complement to rail transport away from the airport. It convinces with its dense 10 minute intervals.

At BER, the central right-of-way is in front of Terminal 1 on the airport arrivals level.
