The distance between Flughafen BER and Berlin Central Station is about 25 km.

The distance between BER Airport and Potsdam, the state capital, is about 40 km.

Getting to BER Airport is very easy. Important: please check your flight ticket to see which terminal you are departing from, as BER Airport consists of three terminals in two locations. Depending on the time of day, there are various direct connections with the new Airport Express FEX, regional trains, local S-Bahn trains, buses and some IC (Intercity) connections. BER Airport can be reached from many places in Brandenburg with only one change in Berlin, Potsdam, Ludwigsfelde or Königs Wusterhausen.

The station "Flughafen BER - Terminal 1-2" for long-distance, regional and suburban train and bus lines is located directly under Terminal 1 and offers more comfort for passengers and passengers due to the short connection to the main building. The following lines serve this station:

At Terminal 1, level E0, you will find the bus arrival and departure areas directly on the approach road. You can access the long-distance bus stop via Terminal 1, Level U1, at the Airport-City exit.

The station "Flughafen BER - Terminal 5" is easily accessible on foot from Terminal 5 following the signs. Here, the S-Bahn lines S45 and S9 travel in the direction of Berlin and in the other direction via the new S-Bahn station Waßmannsdorf to BER Airport - Terminal 1-2. Also two regional train lines.

The staffed Deutsche Bahn sales office is in Terminal 1, Level U1 and is open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Tickets for long-distance DB trains can also be purchased at the DB Regio ticket machines in Terminal 1 on Levels E0 (baggage carousels), U1 and U2).

The new railway station "Flughafen BER – Terminal 1-2" for long-distance, regional and suburban train lines is under Terminal 1, Level U2. You can also enter the station via the square called Willy-Brandt-Platz.

The station "Flughafen BER – Terminal 5" can be reached by foot in 5 to 10 minutes from Terminal 5 – just follow the signs.

At Terminal 1, the coach stops are located at the Airport City exit, which you can get to via the U1 Level. At Terminal 5, all coaches depart from the bus stops at Flughafen BER station – Terminal 5.

Use public transport to transfer between terminals T1-2 and T5. The transfer between the terminals on foot and by S-Bahn (S45 and S9) or bus takes at least 20 minutes, so make sure you give yourself enough time so that you can find your way around.

A taxi ride to Berlin city centre (e.g. to Alexanderplatz) takes 35-45 minutes, depending on traffic conditions, and costs about €55-60.
