Since 01.01.2021 day tickets become 24-hour tickets and are valid after validation or from the start of validity printed on the ticket for a full 24 hours. The day ticket VBB network is an exception, it retains its previous validity: Mondays to Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. of the following day and Saturdays, Sundays, on December 24 and 31 as well as on the public holidays valid throughout Berlin and Brandenburg from 0:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. of the following day.

Valid for an unlimited amount of journeys.

After validation, you may not transfer the ticket to any other person.

24-hour tickets of regular fare, valid for the geographical area of Berlin AB, ABC as well as Potsdam AB, include the transport of three children aged 6 to 14 years. The rule only applies if the holder is at least 15 years old.

Children aged 6 to 14 years may receive a price-reduced 24-hour ticket (except day passes for the entire VBB network). This also applies to BahnCard holders when purchasing a ticket for local and regional tariff levels.
